District Attorney Daniella Shorter-Levy announces the conviction of LIBBY MARTIN for Embezzlement.
On June 23, 2025, Libby Martin appeared before the Honorable Judge Tomika H. Irving in Copiah County Circuit Court and plead guilty to the aforementioned charge. Judge Irving sentenced Defendant Martin to Three (3) years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC), with Three (3) of those years suspended and Three (3) years of supervised probation.
Defendant Martin is required to pay court cost in the amount of Four Hundred and Twenty-Seven Dollars and Fifty Cents ($427.50), Two Thousand and Two Hundred Dollars ($2,200.00) in restitution to Family Dollar in Hazelhurst, MS, and a bond fee as ordered by the Court.
