District Attorney Daniella Shorter Levy announces the conviction of LONDON MOORE.
On January 5, 2026, London Moore appeared before the Honorable Judge Tomika H. Irving in Claiborne County Circuit Court and pled guilty to a Bill of Information for Mayhem.
Judge Irving sentenced Defendant Moore to Five (5) years in the custody of the
Mississippi Department of Corrections, with Three (3) of those years being suspended,
One (1) Year to be served under the Intensive Supervision Program (House Arrest), and
One (1) Year to be served under supervised probation. Defendant Moore is ordered to
pay One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) in restitution to the victim, Kristiana Nevels, One
Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150.00) for investigative cost to the District Attorney's
Office, a bond fee of Five Hundred and Ten Dollars ($510.00), One Hundred Dollars
($100) to the Crime Victims Compensation Fund, and Four Hundred Twenty Seven
Dollar and Fifty Cents ($427.50) in Court Cost.
On March 27, 2024, Moore and the Nevels were involved in a physical altercation
on the campus of Alcorn State University that resulted in Moore pulling a knife of Nevels
and stabbing her multiple times causing injuries to Nevels face, legs, and arms.
The District Attorney's Office will continue to prosecute those persons that seek to
harm its citizens and disrupt the peace and dignity of the 23rd Judicial District.
