District Attorney Daniella Shorter-Levy announces the conviction of MICHAEL SANDIFER for Felony Malicious Mischief.


On June 23, 2025, Michael Sandifer appeared before the Honorable Judge Tomika H. Irving in Copiah County Circuit Court and plead guilty to the aforementioned charge. Judge Irving sentenced Defendant Nichols to Three (3) years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC), with Three (3) of those years suspended and Three (3) years of supervised probation.


Defendant Sandifer is required to pay court cost in the amount of Four Hundred and Twenty-Seven Dollars and Fifty Cents ($427.50), Two Thousand Seven Hundred and Eleven Dollars ($2,711.00) in restitution to the Wesson Police Department for damage to a police cruiser, and a bond fee as ordered by the Court.
