District Attorney Daniella Shorter Levy announces the conviction of TYLER WALTMAN.
On October 20, 2025, Tyler Waltman appeared before the Honorable Judge Tomika H. Irving in Copiah County Circuit Court and pled guilty to a Bill of Information for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
Irving sentenced Defendant Waltman to Six (6) months to serve in the Copiah County Jail, with 6 months suspended. Defendant Waltman is to pay a One Thousand Dollar 00/100 ($1,000) fine; Restitution of Two Thousand Dollars 00/100 ($2,000.00) to the legal guardians of the minor L.K. within one year to the date of sentencing; and any and all court cost as associated with this matter. Additionally, Defendant Waltman is to have no further contact with the minor L.K.
The District Attorney’s Office will continue to prosecute those persons that seek to harm its citizens and disrupt the peace and dignity of the 23rd Judicial District.
